Zach Winston, Literary Associate

Zach Winston

Having been conned into auditioning for A Skull in Connemara in the summer of 2009, Zach has been a proud and loyal member of Vagabond Theatre Group since its debut performance. Subsequent to said performance, Zach has found himself assistant directing two IRNE nominated productions with VTG, directing 2014’s Fortune’s Favored, writing and producing a full-length play about pirates (an opus clocking in at almost three hours per performance), and leading multiple TWBW readings at Trident Booksellers & Cafe.  Other theatre companies he’s performed with include Zeitgeist Stage, Boston Playwrights Theater, Project: Project, and Salem State College’s Student Theater Ensemble. When not involved in theater, Zach enjoys watching pro wrestling, going to the gym, playing video games, drinking beer, eating, sleeping, and using the microwave.

The Unfortunate Cutthroats is Winston’s first full-length play, and clocking in at three hours it is an opus of considerable dimension.”
Kilian Melloy on  VTG’s The Unfortunate Cutthroats in EDGE Boston
“Zach Winston is superb as angry, snarky, one-word answering teen Zack.”
Nick Dussault on Zeitgeist Stage’s Tigers Be Still in the Boston Metro
